Our mission, vision & approach
A future where every
journey is safe.
We believe that no death on the road should be acceptable. Our work brings people, knowledge and practical action together to help prevent road crashes.
Who we are
Community at the heart.
Safety in every step.
Safe Road Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation working across road safety education, research and community action.
We seek partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, businesses and communities, connecting studies and surveys with implementation.
What guides us
Three priorities.
One shared purpose.
Safer movement
Support traffic planning and management that helps people move smoothly and safely.
Considerate road users
Build awareness of road sharing and encourage skilled, responsible behaviour.
Care for victims
Advocate access to emergency medical facilities and follow-up support for people affected by road crashes.
Our story
From understanding
to action.
The foundation grew from five years of research by founder Mohammad Imran, who holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work from Jamia Millia Islamia.
His national and international social-sector experience, including two years living and working in the United Kingdom, shaped his commitment to improving road safety in India.
Meet the people behind SRF →Our approach
